The Town of Meeker is seeking qualified applicants for the Town Clerk position, with a target start date of May 4th. Ideal candidates will possess high level accounting skills and be organized and detail oriented. The role of Town Clerk is critical to keeping local government running smoothly behind the scenes – working closely with the Town Administrator to manage meetings, public records, elections, liquor licensing, and public notices. The Clerk will also be expected to create and manage the Town budget, facilitate monthly payroll and benefits, and oversee all accounts payable and receivable, so experience working with governmental accounting and payroll and benefits administration will be looked upon favorably. Must be bondable.
The salary range for the Town Clerk position is $69,414 to $86,929 depending on qualifications (DOQ) with an excellent benefit package. Meeker is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
