PUBLIC WORKS SUPERINTENDENT VACANCY
The Town of Meeker is seeking a well-rounded individual to help lead the Public Works Department. Ideal candidates will have a talent for providing vision, leadership, and direction to the department and the ability to maintain cooperative working relationships within the Town and with other governmental agencies, community groups, and the public.
A bachelor’s degree with major coursework in construction, facilities or project management, maintenance, engineering, or a related field is desirable; ten or more years of progressive experience working in the field of Public Works and thee to five years of experience in a supervisory capacity will be looked upon favorable.
In addition to a competitive annual salary between $80,000 -$95,000 DOQ the Town offers excellent benefits including fully paid family health, dental, prescription, vision, and life insurance; 6% matching retirement; paid vacation, sick leave and 12 holidays per year; and broad training and certification opportunities.
