The Meeker Police Department is accepting applications for the position of Police Officer. An immediate opening exists for a qualified candidate. Meeker is a beautiful town in rural Northwest Colorado with a population of about 2,500. The area is known for our great hunting, fishing and other outdoor recreational sports.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
- 21 years of age at the time of hire.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Colorado POST Certified, currently enrolled in a POST academy, or ability to obtain Provisional Certificate (for out of state certified peace officers).
- Valid Colorado driver’s license, or the ability to obtain within 30 days.
- No felony charges, disqualifying misdemeanors, or domestic violence in history. ·POSITION OPEN UNTIL FILLED
The selection process may include completion of a basic written test, oral board interview, background investigation, integrity interview, polygraph exam, psychological exam, medical exam and a drug screen.
