Town Park: 20 South 4th Street

Features a playground, paved walking path, basketball court, pickleball court, horseshoe pit, pavilion, RV camping, all season restrooms, river access, BBQ grill, benches, bike rack, electricity, picnic tables, public art, RV water fill and dump station, sand volleyball court, and water fountain. Bring your own sports equipment.

Circle Park: 1 South 5th Street (adjacent to Town Park across the bridge)

Features picnic tables, covered pavilion, open spaces, tent camping, pond with fishing pier, ADA accessible river access, BBQ grills, benches, electricity, walking path, and vault toilet.

• No lifeguard on duty

• Anglers 16 and older must have a valid fishing license

• Daily bag limit of four (4) trout per angler

Sanderson Hills Park: 1091 Sanderson Drive

Features a playground, picnic tables, pavilion, soccer field, all season restrooms, paved walking path, trailhead access to the Phillip & Dorcas Jensen Memorial Park, BBQ grill, benches, bike rack, electricity, open space, and water fountain.

6th Street Park: on 6th Street between Hill and Cedar Streets

Park features large open space, open practice field with backstop, sports field, seasonal restrooms, spectator stands, and seasonal water fountain.

Foothills Park: 1106 Pinyon Street

Park Features open space, benches, and playground equipment.

Sage Hills Park: 1315 Sage Ridge Road

Park features large open space, horseshoe pits, and picnic table.

McHatton Park: 820 11th Street

Park features open space, basketball court, and picnic table.

Ute Park: Adjacent to Highway 13 west of Meeker Town limits.

Designated as primarily open space the park is a unique venue comprised of approximately 115 acres and includes a natural amphitheater, serves as a trailhead to BLM property at the north end of the park and has been used by different organizations for annual events such as the Meeker Classic Sheepdog Championship Trials.

A large electric transformer was installed at the lower end of the park to accommodate the concert and hopefully other events. No camping is allowed unless it is associated with a special event. For more information contact Meeker Town Hall at 970.878.5344.

Important Information:

When a pavilion is reserved, other users are prohibited. If there is no reservation permit posted, the pavilion may be used on a first-come, first served basis. Persons or parties possessing a valid permit have priority to use the pavilion area only. The permit in no way constitutes exclusive use of all park amenities. Reservations may be made for pavilion use only, camping is on a first come first served basis.

Pavilion Rental: half day $30, full day $55
RV Camping: $20 per day
Tent Camping: $10 per day

A refund will be given if the Town is notified 24 hours or more in advance. A refund will be given if weather or other uncontrollable conditions exist the day of the reservation. A refund check will be issued within 14 business days.

Driving up to the pavilion structure to unload is strictly prohibited. If using a large BBQ, it must be parked in a single space in the parking lot. Hot plates, burners, crock pots, or other devices used to keep food hot must be kept under the pavilion.

GFI outlets are available at each pavilion. If electricity is not working, contact Town Hall at 970-878-5344, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. If after hours call 970-878-5555.

If staking anything in the ground (volleyball net, tent, croquet hoops, etc.) make sure that it is not next to a sprinkler head and does not go deeper than six inches.

Please deposit trash in the receptacles provided or pack it out.

RV and tent campers are welcome at Town Park and Circle Park. Enjoy beautiful scenery by the White River! To help us keep the parks healthy and safe for all users (including local wildlife), please follow these simple rules during your stay:

• Vehicle/tent camping is allowed at designated areas only.

• Camping and RV spots are first come, first served.

• Overnight tent or RV camping is by permit only

• Permits may be obtained at the designated pay station at the southwest corner of the Town Park parking lot or the south side of the bridge in Circle Park.

• 7-day limit at $30 per day.

• Checks should be made payable to Town of Meeker.

• Fees must be paid by 11:00 a.m. daily.

• Spacing between camp trailers should be no closer than ten feet.

• The RV dump and potable water fill station at Town Park is located at the northwest corner of 5th and Water Streets.

Permitted at designated tent spots at Circle Park (across the bridge).

• 7-day limit at $10 per day.

• All equipment shall be removed by 9:00 a.m. on day of departure.

The White River may be accessed with flotation devices at the bottom of 3rd Street. However, you must exit at 10th Street as beyond that point is private property.

Occupancy and use of the parks are subject to all policies and ordinances of the Town of Meeker. Additional rules may apply at designated areas.

• Park hours are sunrise to sunset.

• Parking and camping in designated areas only.

• No digging, tree cutting, or fire pit construction is permitted.

• No off-leash dogs are permitted, please pick up after your pet.

• No livestock or horses are permitted in the park.

• Portable electric generators or similar mechanical devices shall not be operated between the hours of 9:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

• No motorized vehicles (except for ADA equipment).

• No fires or fireworks.

• Use of designated charcoal grills are permitted unless fire restrictions are in place.

• Please extinguish thoroughly.

• No alcoholic beverage consumption or glass containers of any kind.

• Engaging in commercial activity including solicitation without a permit is not permitted.

• Use trash receptacles or pack it out with you. No littering or dumping of any debris.

• No hunting or the use of any firearm or projectile weapon.

• Do not remove or disturb any man-made or natural feature.

• Amplified music is not allowed.

• No off-trail hiking.

Items left at parks and along trails are often turned in to the Town. If you are missing something, please check with us by calling 970-878-5344 or come to Town Hall at 345 Market Street. All unclaimed property will be disposed of after 30 days.

In addition to the above guidelines, conditions of use are listed on the reservation permit and park rules are posted in each park. Please adhere to these at all times.
