Bulk Water Building Remodel
INVITATION FOR BIDS
You are hereby invited to bid for improvements to the Bulk Water Building for the Town of Meeker. This project includes replacing the roofing and improvements to the exterior of the building. The project site is located at 111 Third Street in Meeker, Colorado. Construction will follow the 2003 International Building Codes.
Bid specifications are below. A mandatory pre-bid walk-thru will be held on July 26, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at the project site, 111 Third St., Meeker.
Bid proposals shall be mailed or delivered to Meeker Town Hall, 345 Market Street, Meeker, CO 81641 by 5:00 p.m., Friday, July 30, 2021. The bids will be opened and read aloud at the Board of Trustees meeting on Tuesday August 3, 2021 and awarded on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 by the Town Board of Trustees at Town Hall, 345 Market Street in Meeker. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or a check in the amount of 10% of the bid made payable to the Town of Meeker as bid security, along with three references for similar work. Performance and Payment Bonds are required. The successful bidder must maintain workers compensation and general liability insurance in the amount of no less than $1,000,000 during the project.
The Town reserves the right to reject any and all bids; to change, add, or amend the specifications; to waive any informalities; and the right to disregard all non-conforming or conditional bids or counter proposals. Each proposal shall be reviewed and considered consistent with the provisions of the Town of Meeker Purchasing Policy. All Bid Proposals and Bid Security shall be sealed in an envelope with “Bulk Water Building remodel” written on the front.
